Everything about CERTEGO DAY 2024

4/23/24 10:39 AM
CERTEGO DAY, which is an annual recurring event within CERTEGO, is an opportunity for all employees to gather for conferences, training, supplier fairs, networking, and socializing. This year, CERTEGO DAY in Sweden featured big news, both in terms of the format and the revelations presented on stage. Thanks to everyone who contributed to making it yet another fantastic day together!
Big news and hot topics at CERTEGO Talkshow

The day began with a Talkshow where internal and external guests were interviewed regarding news and ongoing activities within CERTEGO. It was a welcome upgrade of our previous information sessions at CERTEGODAGEN and included both interesting insights and playful elements.

The big news for the day was, of course, that Tobias Eriksson is stepping down as Country President after 11 years in the position. Initially, a film was shown with statements from Tobias's colleagues over the years, and some guessed already then that something big was underway. When the news was finally revealed, a gasp went through the audience.

I have had a fantastic time as CEO of CERTEGO Sweden. Standing on stage at CERTEGO DAY and saying goodbye was incredibly touching. I want to take this opportunity to thank you all not just for a fantastic CERTEGO DAY but also for all the years we have worked together to take CERTEGO to where we are today. The journey has been long and almost always fun! Now, I look forward to stepping into my new role as COO and continue to support the line with the experiences I have gathered over the years.

Tobias Eriksson

Everyone sat on pins and needles while Jonas Granath, CEO Group, took the opportunity to thank Tobias for his time as CEO - and welcomed him to the role of COO in the Group - before he finally could reveal that our new Country President will be Jesper Jakobsson.

I want to thank you all for a fantastic CERTEGO DAY. I can only be super proud and grateful for our successful culture. I think it will be incredibly fun to take on the role of Country President for CERTEGO Sweden and I am impressed and grateful for the work Tobias has done over the last decade. In the role of Country President, I look forward to developing our customer offering and growing further. Not least, I look forward to more CERTEGO DAYS!

Jesper Jakobsson

Anders Rundgren, Head of M&A Group also took the stage, sharing the company's criteria for choosing acquisition candidates. Ludvig Takacs HR Manager and Marija Mihajlovska from Arbetsförmedlingen presented the collaboration project which aims to recruit and train security technicians through Arbetsförmedlingen.

Carina Nyman, project & service manager, and Susanne Nylund, change manager, discussed the work on streamlining processes and how they are working with the further development of our business system. Hans Bergström, quality and environmental manager talked about the company's sustainability efforts.

Supplier fair with extra everything

This year's fair had more exhibitors than ever and the exhibitors had invested incredibly strongly in getting fine booths, engaged booth staff and fun activities in place. Bosch, AddSecure, and Pacom held appreciated seminars for those eager to know more about AI cameras, the 2G & 3G network phase-out, and Pacom's systems for managing security solutions.

During the fair, the latest addition to CERTEGO's vehicle fleet was also displayed: Volkswagen ID. Buzz Cargo. An electric van with substantial cargo space that brings us closer to the goal of a completely fossil-free fleet. Many took the opportunity to take a look at the van and the new interior developed in consultation with security technicians around CERTEGO.

Dinner, stand up and party!

The day ended in the usual way with mingling, dinner, and festivities. During the mingling, an award ceremony was held and the prize for this year's exhibitor was awarded. Iloq had to step down as reigning exhibitor champion and instead it was dormakaba that won the visitors' favor!

We were treated to fast-paced entertainment by the group Le Crash at dinner. The entire venue danced and sang along and the atmosphere was really high. This year's comedian was none other than Al Pitcher who accurately commented on all the oddities we engage in in Sweden.

The party then continued on the dance floor and in the Game Room all night long in true CERTEGO spirit!
