On 25 November, the world turns orange as the UN highlights Orange Day, the international day to end violence against women. The colour orange symbolises hope, strength, and a future free from violence.
For the fifth year in a row, CERTEGO is taking part in the campaign to raise awareness and show our support. Throughout November, “Orange Month”, UN Women organises activities and fundraisers that support their global work to end violence and promote gender equality.
Violence against women is a serious and widespread problem – one in three women worldwide is subjected to physical or sexual violence at some point in her life. At the same time, engagement is growing, and through joint efforts, organisations, companies and individuals make a difference every day.
CERTEGO supports UN Women’s work through its own fundraiser and internal initiatives that raise awareness of violence against women and girls. We encourage all employees to stand up against violence and destructive norms – both at work and in their private lives.
